About Requisite Women and Youth Empowerment Foundation

Requisite Women and Youth Empowerment Foundation is a nonprofit organization committed to empowering young girls and supporting widows in Nigeria. Our mission is to break the cycle of poverty by providing educational opportunities, mentorship, and resources to girls aged 10 to 18 and to support widows up to age 50 with skills training and economic empowerment.

Our Mission Statement

Our NGO is dedicated to providing educational opportunities, mentorship, and resources for girls, enabling them to break the cycle of poverty and realize their full potential. We also work to reduce the prevalence of young children hawking on the streets by addressing the underlying economic barriers faced by their families.

Additionally, we offer support and skills resilience, secure livelihoods, and ensure the well-being of their households. Through collaboration and community engagement, we strive to create a society where every girl has the opportunity to thrive, and every widow has the support needed to rebuild their life.

We strive to develop and provide opportunities in spheres like quality health, education, vocational skills, training, relief, and empowerment, provide resources for health and wellness, and support the needy, our military, and their families.

Our Services

Educational Programs:

We offer scholarships, tutoring, and educational resources to help young girls succeed academically and develop leadership skills.

Mentorship:

Our mentorship program pairs girls with successful female role models to guide and inspire them toward achieving their full potential.

Skills Training:

We provide practical skills training for widows, including vocational training, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship programs, to help them secure livelihoods and achieve financial independence.

We work closely with communities to address the economic barriers that force young children into street hawking, promoting sustainable solutions for families.
